Almag offer standard ranges of power chokes, all with well defined performance characteristics, based on our unrivalled application and design experience.

Custom types
We work with our customers to find the optimum balance between performance and cost for toroidal and bobbin wound chokes and inductors.
Active pfc chokes	On powder toroids or ferrite E-cores	low cost designs for up to 150k Hz, using the latest core materials.
SMPSU output chokes	On powder toroids or ferrite E-cores	wire or foil wound, using the latest core materials for up to 250kHz.
Resonant chokes	On ferrite E-cores or fabricated assemblies	litz wound, with multiple airgaps to reduce proximity effect heating, are a speciality.
